HELLO CHUMS!

Herein lies a selection of some fairly basic bioinformatic tools that I'm looking to expand and maintain (subject to my ever-diminishing attention span). They're free for use by absolutely anyone. Go ahead and use them for whatever purpose you wish, really, I don't care if you're using them for evil just remember to leave a little island for me when you take over the world. Not to be picky but I'd prefer something larger than than 5 acres. Thanks.

So! None of these tools come with any sort of guarantee with regards to qualities such as "accuracy", "fitness for use" or even "competence". It's simple - don't look at me if you're too stupid or lazy to critically interpret your results. There may be bugs in these tools. In fact I can pretty well guarantee that there will be bugs in these tools - check your damn outputs!! I do my best to check them out but it's on you too. Okay?

Bioinformatic Tools

Sequence Merger
Feed it a bunch of individual FASTA sequences in a zip file and it will combine them all into a single multiFASTA file. So easy.

Supported file types: FASTA
Protein terminator
Has travelled back in time to perform the tedious task of terminating your protein sequences at certain characters. Great if you have a load of sequences that need to be truncated at a certain point.

Analyse a bunch of aligned sequences for their diversity. Currently supporting a 5-state analysis of diversity.

Pretty up your amino acid, RNA and DNA sequences for viewing in your browser. Based on the jQuery library, includes full instructions, source and package download.
